Who is Yappy Ever After?

We are a small team of three girls who LOVE pooches. Our journey started with our founder and head dog trainer/walker, Sarah. Our mission is to deliver the best services for all pet owners and their pooches, while caring for them with so much love and respect they deserve.

Sarah started out as a dog walker at the age of 18 on a part time basis to help overcome depression. Then at the age of 28 took the plunge and started dog walking full time.

Sarah and her husband got their first pooch together in 2015 ... a German Shepherd they named Dixon. Dixon gradually started to grow from a perfect 8 week old pup to a teenage pup with several growth deformities, he had to endure several operations to correct his growth and due to this he unfortunately gained a disliking to all strangers (due to lack of socialisation and a bad experience at the vets). This developed into a HUGE problem when Dixon became a HUGE puppy, lunging at strangers in the street, and so Sarah started her journey delving into the world of Dog Behaviour in a bid to help Dixon.

She quickly learnt that the new age positive training gave her the ability to make Dixon’s walk a fun positive experience and helped him conquer all his fears with a happy, stress free, treat filled walk. Sarah and Dave also adopted their lazy mix breed whippet type pooch called Rogue, all in the name of Dixons happiness.

Sarah now has a Dog behaviour training diploma in which she passed with DISTINCTION! She is also Animal first aid trained.

She hosts socialisation PAWties every Saturday, does one to one training sessions, chaperones dogs at weddings and trains and hosts dog agility at the Ravenfield fete every year as well as other local events. Now with over 17 years experience in the dog world she's growing the team to work with alongside other dog enthusiasts to help you and your pooch have a very Yappy Ever After.

Millie and Amelia are our Saturday morning girls - they both ensure every pup/pooch gets their free puppachino on arrival and make drinks for the humans.

They both assist with handling the dogs and help Sarah with the training and supervising of all the dogs ensuring all the dogs have a happy positive experience.
